Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Warsaw

The grand dame, literally across the street from the Raffles, and the two make an easy comparison stay. The Bristol's spa is quieter and less choreographed — a large Finnish sauna, a steam room, an indoor pool and a relaxation area under the 1901 building — where Raffles gives you a circuit, this gives you a big hot room and leaves you alone in it. Which for a lot of people is the better version. Art Nouveau bones, a café that has been a Warsaw institution for a century, and a location on the Royal Route that puts the Old Town at the end of a walk.
